Cheoy Lee Pedrick 47ft Proven Offshore Capability
Designed by Doug Peterson and built by the respected Cheoy Lee yard, Salty is a serious bluewater cruising yacht. These Pedrick 47s are well known for their solid construction, balanced sailing characteristics and practical layouts that make them equally comfortable offshore or cruising closer to home.
The centre cockpit configuration offers a secure helm position and good protection on passage, while still maintaining excellent visibility. Under sail, the boat benefits from a Gori 3-blade folding propeller, a comprehensive sail inventory and aluminium rig with updated running rigging, delivering dependable performance whether cruising or covering longer offshore miles.
Below decks, the layout provides generous accommodation with two cabins, multiple double berths and two heads, making the boat well suited to couples cruising with family or occasional guests. The interior is practical and comfortable for extended time aboard, supported by a well-equipped galley and plenty of storage throughout.
For extended cruising, Salty is set up with lithium house batteries, Victron charging systems, solar, inverter power, watermaker and generator, allowing you to spend long periods away from the dock. Navigation is handled through a mix of Simrad, Raymarine and B&G electronics, providing a reliable offshore navigation suite.
