Baltic Sirena 44
Bay of Islands
The Baltic Sirena 44 offers excellent upwind performance, a spacious cockpit, and comfortable interior. Fully set up for offshore sailing or long term cruising with top quality fittings and hardware, this is a luxury owners version for both racing and cruising. All lines lead back to the cockpit for easy short handed sailing.
Downstairs there's a Californian king sized bed in the aft centre cabin with adjourning bathroom on the starboard side. There is a bunk for a small child in the master cabin or used for bag storage. Three bunk beds in the bow are perfect for a family with kids. Lovely timber throughout, safe aft L shaped galley on the port side and large dining table in the saloon.
Aloha was built in Finland by Baltic yachts, and in her prime was raced by her owner in Holland to win many titles. In 2006 the boat underwent a refit with a new mast and diform wire rigging, new sails, new lines.
The next owner put in a new Volvo D2 Engine 55HP, new sail drive and 3 blade folding propeller, along with a bow thruster.
More upgrades were received in 2017 after the boat went to it's 3rd owner, including the Raymarine C Series and a A series chart plotter, Navionics world charts, and windlass. A stainless plate was added to protect the bow from the anchor, and a new arch was built for solar panels and dinghy, along with new genoa and water maker, followed by a Raymarine autopilot in 2018.
Current owners have completed their adventure in New Zealand, and Aloha is now ready for it's fourth owner to take the baton and continue the journey.
