Two months to go till PIC Coastal Classic

With just two months to go before the big race on the 20th of October, sailors and enthusiasts alike are gearing up for an exhilarating challenge along the picturesque New Zealand coastline.

Here's a breakdown of what you need to know:

1. Date and Location
The big race is set to take place on the 20th of October along the picturesque New Zealand coastline. From Auckland to Russell ending on the 21st of October with a prize giving to follow at the Nauti Penguin in Russell.

Entries close on the 6th of October.
The entry fee is $200.00.

3. Race Divisions
36° Brokers Sponsored Cruisers Rally Division | This division provides an opportunity for sailors who enjoy cruising to take part. Participants can also watch the race fleet in action while cruising the coast. There's a photo competition associated with this division, with spot prizes available. 

4. CAT 3 Certified | Check the list of Cat 3 Surveyors here.
The Coastal is defined by Yachting NZ as a Category 3 minus event. This means you need to get a Cat 3 (minus life raft or dinghy)  safety certificate issued by Yachting NZ.  

6. Crew | PIC CC crew finder FaceBook
For participants seeking crew members, there is a Facebook page set up by PIC CC where they can connect with potential crewmates.
