The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is well underway, and despite a very wet start to the week, the atmosphere across the marina has quickly come alive with packed docks, waterfront events, and a constant buzz around the latest boats on display.
Nicholas, one of the team representing 36 Degrees Brokers on the ground at Sanctuary Cove, said the Beneteau team and associated contractors did an incredible job preparing for the show, successfully getting all eight Beneteau models into the marina and creating the largest Beneteau presence the show has seen. This year also marks the 40th anniversary of the Oceanis range, making it an especially exciting year for the brand.

On display this year are standout models including the newly released Beneteau Oceanis 52, the First 30, First 44, and Swift Trawler 48, alongside the Lagoon 38 and the Australasian release of the Excess 13, which has continued to draw huge interest and praise from both visitors and industry leaders throughout the event.

According to Nicholas, Thursday saw a steady stream of both current owners and prospective buyers stepping onboard throughout the day, with strong interest across both sail and power models. Friday has brought fine weather, a building breeze, and an even bigger crowd through the marina, adding even more energy to the atmosphere around the show.

Beyond the boats themselves, the vibe around Sanctuary Cove has been unreal, with busy waterfront restaurants, evening events, and nonstop conversations happening across the docks. Buyers and owners have been making the most of the opportunity to compare models side by side, discuss upgrading or selling plans, and get a much better feel for what suits their style of boating.
