Introducing Beneteau's NEW Gran Turismo 41

24 November 2020 | Beneteau

Carefree days and dreamy nights just got better with the release of Beneteau's Gran Turismo 41. As the newest addition to Beneteau’s express cruiser line, the design goal was to build on the legacy of the Gran Turismo 40, a model that has proved hugely popular for its practical yet stylish features. The 40 has also been a huge hit in The Yacht Collective syndicate shares, as the perfect boat for a weekend getaway with friends, family, or even colleagues.

The GT41 follows in the same stead while taking the signature features a step further. The sporty hull and slender unpretentious lines are elegant and chic, and the purpose of everything on board is to make life easier. Some progressions from the 40 include the aft sunbathing area which is placed at bench height for easier access, and to create a real lounge space. The forward sun pad also now offers easily reclining backs and a retractable canopy, as well as courtesy lights.

Another hallmark of the Gran Turismo 41 is that she is good for entertaining, as can be seen from the large U-shaped cockpit where guests can comfortably chat and relax. The outdoor galley is also a hit with guests.

A key feature of the Gran Turismo 41 is the hard top. As one of Beneteau’s landmark innovations it is now copied by many. Combining the largest opening possible to enjoy the sun and sea, this feature is enhanced on the 41 with extra-slim uprights which maximises light inside.

Performance-wise, the GT41 benefits from an Air Step® hull developed by Beneteau, which is the key to efficiency and stability even at sustained speeds. The central helm station and an upright-free windshield create excellent visibility, and the driver can also enjoy the optional automatic Zipwake trim which enhances stability when the loads change. Similarly, the joystick and bow thruster provide fingertip control tab system of difficult maneuvers in limited space.
