The First 36 won 2022 Performance Cruiser of the Year at the British Yachting Awards, thanks to its functional design, the perfect mesh of racing and cruising. We are excited to welcome the first of the new First 36’s to NZ in 2023. Keep an eye on our news feed for info on the launching.First 36 Ext 25

Another mention from the British Yachting awards is the Highly Commended Oceanis Yacht 60 in the Hyde Sails Cruising Yacht of the Year category.

The Grand Trawler 62 impressed the judges at the Annual European Powerboat Awards, winning in the Displacement Category. Praised for its long cruising range and excellent liveability, the GT 62 is a product of great workmanship. The modern design sets the trend for displacement cruisers as the flagship of the highly successful Swift Trawler rage by Beneteau. We look forward to the Power Boat awards again next year, where the latest Swift Trawler 48 is nominated in the Displacement category.

The Beneteau Oceanis 34.1 was nominated for European Yacht of the Year in the Family Cruiser category.

To round everything out, Groupe Beneteau also came away with a win at the 2022 Boat Builder Awards. Environmental Improvement in the Manufacturing Process was the focus of this award, reflecting Beneteau’s recent development of Bio-sourced materials and recyclable resins.
This compliments the processes Beneteau has had in place since 2015, with company goals to reduce gas emissions and waste in many parts of the business.
