A pure performance, inshore-offshore racing hybrid designed by Richael-Pugh, this boat has a fantastic pedigree and been kept up to modern standards in continual modification for IRC racing. All modifications have been engineered by Richael-Pugh and carried out by Brad Fitzgerald. 

She recently raced in the 2020 Round North Island race, before which the mast was pulled out, and the standing rig, sheaves and halyards were serviced. She has been hauled out in Jan 2021 for a coat of fresh antifoul, ready to race in Bay of Islands Race week 2021.

Kia Kaha’s Kiwi life has seen her take on numerous regattas including the Coastal Classic from Auckland to Russell, Bay of Islands Race week, Jack Tar Regatta, Hamilton Island Race Week as well as offshore races Auckland to Noumea and Auckland to Fiji.

You may recognize her by her previous name Lexus/Quantum, under which she made her debut into the MedCup Racing circuit. Her racing history in the MedCup and TP52 World Championships continued until 2008 under her next name Bigamist.

TP52’s offer the perfect combination of IRC inshore racing and offshore blasting. Kia Kaha comes fully equipped with inshore, offshore and delivery sails. She has a set of 3DI North sails with a range of 3DL as backup.
