A real sailors catamaran, the Dean 400 has a beautifully balanced sail plan to keep the center of effort over the keels, and the mast rake is a feature of this. 
This Dean has had a 2ft extension on the transom which is common on this model. This allows for much nicer access on the water.

Unlike a lot of production catamarans this one is solid fiberglass under the waterline. The bridegdeck clearance has a minimum of 800mm rising to 1.2 at the stern. The inside of each hull features a wave turnover flare reducing the likelihood of pounding.

This boat has some really lovely sweeping lines and a racy aerodynamic cabin top that doesn’t compromise internal volume.

There is a huge amount of living space in the saloon, with good size cabins slightly raised from the bridgedeck. There is also a lot of storage space for a boat of this size. 

The dodger provides great shelter with no compromise to vison. It also acts as a water catchment system to fill the tanks. This boat is easy to sail shorthanded with the twin helm stations and autopilot in the saloon, making it easy to plot a course out of the weather.

The owner is a whizz with electronics so this boat has been well set up with self-sufficient charging systems and modernized electronics.

The gelcoat in good condition and has been polished regularly.
