Having been purchased in Sydney from the current owner, this Bruce Farr design made the crossing back to NZ waters in 2017 and is the perfect balance between a competitive racer and coastal cruiser all in one.
Big Kahoona has performed competitively earning itself a strong reputation in coastal Auckland waters. She comes suited and booted with both a carbon mainsail and headsail for racing, as well as the original Dacron sails. 2 gennakers, 2 additional headsails, and a storm jib are all included.
If cruising is the preference, the 3-cabin, 3-shower, 2-bathroom layout is the optimal coastal getaway boat with a generous amount of space in the saloon and cockpit alike. The 3-burner gas top oven with a brand-new grill replaced in 2022, makes cooking on her a breeze.
