After a highly successful turnout at last year's Coastal Classic event, 36 Degrees is once again sponsoring the Cruising Rally Division and we invite you to join us for this iconic event on the 25th October.

The Coastal Classic race is one of the biggest of its type in the world and has long marked the opening of the summer sailing season for many hundreds of Kiwi boaties. The Cruising Rally Division sponsored by us at 36 Degrees, is a fantastic way to be a part of all the action.

The Cruising Rally is for those that don't want to race but who do want to partake in the atmosphere of this exciting iconic event. The rally starts before the race, so you can relax and take it easy - while enjoying the spectacle of the fastest members of the race fleet sailing past you as you head towards Russell.The option to motor is available to those seeking a more leisurely trip so bring your friends and novice sailors along for this fantastic rally on the Hauraki Gulf.

In its third year running, the cruising rally division has grown hugely year on year so don't miss your chance to be a part of this iconic event! There will be small competitions along the way and prize-giving at the other end for those with a competitive spirit. Competitions include first boat to the finish line, photo competition, best fish caught and plenty more to keep the day thrilling!
