Sense 57

The biggest in this unique range, the Benita Sense 57 is simply a joy to be on-board. The unique layout separates the living spaces from the ‘working end’ of the boat, and innovative features make living on board amazingly easy. Delivering outstanding comfort under sail, the Sense 57 redesigns the concept of living at sea.

Key features:

  • Hard-chine hull creating a broad cockpit for reduced angle of heel
  • Fixed mainsheet arch and mast stepped aft improving balance under sail and creating unrestricted companionway access
  • Multiple sail plan options
  • Cockpit galley under helmsman seats
  • Separate instrument console for each helm position
  • Folding telescopic table with electrical adjustment
  • Access hatch to laundry
  • Wraparound coach roof side window
  • 45 Degree companionway
  • Optional leather-topped chart table
  • Modular U-shaped saloon
  • Pop up 32” TV with optional leather trip for the unit
  • 2 guest cabins with sliding doors
  • Ample stowage
  • Island bed in owner’s cabin
  • Concealed appliances
  • Technical area below the cockpit, aft of the living space
  • Optional occasional cabin

INTERIOR

The unique interior design has a lot to offer cruisers who spend long amounts of time at sea. With the cabins located forward, there’s less noise coming from the engine and other equipment which is cleverly placed aft in the boat. So whether you’re motoring or under sail, you can enjoy your cuppa from the large cabin and saloon windows in peace and quiet.

Plenty of other features to maximise space and make for easy living includes the central integral seat at the saloon table which also contains pop-up TV, storage in drawers, hanging lockers, and high-level lockers, a lovely island bed in the owners’ cabin, and much more. Each cabin has an unsuited shower room and the amount of headroom is mind blowing. There’s space to breathe, relax, and simply just enjoy.

EXTERIOR

The Sense 57 has a very clever and unusual deck plan with all cabins located forward. This means the cockpit is closer to the water level, creating a sleek profile.

One of the major innovations for this design is the semi-hard top Bimini which, like all features of Benita builds, has been well thought out and developed. Easy to use and seamlessly integrated into the profile, the Bimini shelters the spacious cockpit from the elements and can even be closed completely to offer extra protection.

In the cockpit the folding telescopic table means you can enjoy lunch in the ‘high’ setting, sundowners in the ‘low’ setting, and lounging around sunbathing when it’s folded away.
