Oceanis 45

Crowned the European Yacht of the Year in 2012, the well performing Oceanis 45 is a versatile boat where all facets of cruising are well and truly covered. Whether you’re after a weekend cruiser or long-term offshore voyager, the 45 can be customized to your requirements and provide a fabulous getaway for your family and friends.

Key features:

  • Hard chine hull shape
  • Fixed arch
  • Available with 2 to 4 cabins and up to 10 berths
  • Choice of deep or shallow draught
  • Large glazed area from seven flush deck hatches
  • Biggest cockpit in it’s class (best access between wheels)
  • Bright living spaces
  • Sliding chart table, convertible with seats
  • Straight stern (modern and attractive line)
  • Fully opening transom which converts to bathing platform and is electrically controlled
  • Built in gas locker in the bottom of cockpit
  • Full-width bench seat when the stern deck is closed
  • GRP cockpit table as standard (wood available as an option)
  • Sail drive engine (Dock and Go compatible)

The Oceanis 45 is set apart by it’s incredibly customisable interior layout which can sleep up to 10 people. For the modern and contemporary boat owners, the option of light oak has been a popular choice for the finishings below, while the more traditional Mahogany suits those wanting a more classic feel to their Beneteau. The sail drive engine means there is less noise downstairs and you can enjoy the comfort of the saloon or cabins in peace and quiet. A sliding chart table cleverly customises the seating downstairs as well, and is just one of the ways Nauta Design has put serious thought into the use of space.

It’s hard to fault the exterior layout on the 45. With the biggest cockpit in it’s class and a flush deck, even the most nervous guests will be able to move around with ease. The reduced angle of heel is also a winning factor for providing comfort while under sail, and is thanks to the hard chine hull shape which also opens up space on deck like you wouldn’t believe. Cool off from the bathing platform with the push of a button, and navigate your way into hidden bays and inlets with the option of having a shallow draught. She can easily be sailed shorthanded with all the controls running back to the helm stations, and electronic systems are user friendly and easy to maintain.
