For a boat of this size there’s a lot going on. Designers were tasked with maximizing the living space, keeping the owners cabin private and keeping the ‘look’ of previous versions. They’ve certainly ticked all those boxes with the redesigned chart table, optional L-shaped galley, and double doors to access the owners cabin which together create a very user-friendly and functional downstairs space. For those wanting a contemporary version, the long galley layout also still available.

The 35.1 is beautifully balanced under sail thanks to the chined hull, twin rudders, and mast positioning. This also makes her feather-light to steer and easy to manoeuver. The mainsail arch is optional, and this frees up space in the cockpit while also providing extra protection. You can choose whether you want a deep or shallow draught with the lifting keel, so those tucked away bays and shallower inlets may be easier to access than you realize.
